I have owned this car since 1981. Not knowing it was as rare as it turned out to really be. I bought this car because at 16 my parents were not going to let me be killed in an overpowered Muscle car so a six cylinder car was it for me. While looking for a OHC six Firebird, I came across this car, struck a deal and it was mine. noticing no color code and a strange decal under the bad repaint, I decided to see what that decal said, Taking the sanding block to the paint the words LIMITED EDITION 600 came up. Then found out it was a Philadelphia District special. That was all I knew until two years ago. Being my only form of transportation I proceeded to put another 100,000 miles on the car until I parked it in 1989.

Then an off and on restoration over the next eight years, all done by me except the final paint. After new floors , quarters frame rail repair, new doors and a new coat of paint you see the results. Then in 1999 I contacted Kevin Marti for an Elite report Only to find out this is one of 503 in the Philadelphia promotion - WEEE! - I was on cloud nine. This car creates much interest at the shows I attend and just about everybody is suprised to learn something new about Mustangs. Options include a Ford under-dash A/C unit as seen in the owners manuals, Fold down rear seat, parking brake light, pop open gas cap and accessory door jamb scuff plates.
