"The Incredible Clunker"

Starting life in San Jose, California, as a 6-cylinder car with two-tone interior and a special order paint code, this Mustang was destined for a 21 yearold lady who wanted a sports car but wasn't too bad on gasoline.

I have taken the dream of this 21 yearold, and have maintained the essence of the six-cylinder car but I have taken it a step further. As she sits now, she is 3/4" lower than in 1968, she has a 2 barrel Weber 38/38 progressive carburetor with custom K&N air clean and filter on top. On the valve train side of things, she's got a custom built roller rocker assembly, with roller rocks, and a Crane 260H camshaft with 2.3L HSC Tempo flattop pistons. The cylinder head was balanced and blueprinted, ported and polished. A 4 angle valve job was done, and the head was magnafluxed just to verify its integrity. Other modifications include a Panasonic 601 head unit with organic display and voice activation with adjoining 10 disc changer, new chrome all around and in the engine bay, with more to come, Harley Davidson tri bar headlights, and styled steel wheels with a disc-brake Versailles being the donor.

This is my first car, and I love it to death. I kept alive the two-tone exterior and interior. She has been deemed "the incredible clunker" by my girlfriend because when we got it, it was a clunker, and now it's just incredible!
