This piano hinge was rusted "solid" I wire wheeled the scale off of it, soaked it over night. Then I worked it lil' by lil w /a hammer in the vice - til I freed it. I actually took a wide flat drift and whacked it in the center 1st to break it loose. The bar/wire inside is a good size. It'll work
