    Thank you for the awesome DIY link. Looks like a big job. I've already switched out my original 289 because after extensive issues it was finally determined it was overbored so I dropped in a rebuilt 302 that was .030 bore. That was thousands of dollars. Just tonight I installed a fan shroud and added water wetter to the coolant to see if this will keep my engine between 180-210. I'll test this weekend.

    I hope I don't need to install a 24" radiator but I certainly am glad to know this is doable. How much did this cost you in parts for the radiator, fan and other components?
