    If you have the clearance, try adding a 1/2in or 1in 40 hole carb spacer. This really helped my 289 and I also put one on my friends 408 and made a big improvement in off throttle response.

    I just e-mailed you the template. You can take the file to Office Depot and have them print a to scale sheet. I cover the sides of the template with blue masking tape. So that I would not scratch the plastic. For me, I used a brand-new coping saw. Thank you

    On a 67 for 68 you have to seal the two halves. Or else the condensation will leak out the botttom. The 69 has a step and the seam does not reach the bottome. I made the mistake of not sealing mine and had to pull the box out again! I sealed it with 3M Strip Caulk...
