Phil... My name is Andy and I am new to the forum. I have had a 1964 1/2 mustang in my garage for the past 18 years and I just started to work on it I need to do both rear frame rails with the torque boxes... I spent most of the weekend with my son drilling out spot welds in the rear and then started to remove the cross member that houses the convertible pump.... this has been much more intricate that I originally thought it would be......I saw that you posted pictures of your work from 10 years ago but could not open them on earthlink? My question to you is did you remove the cross brace that is between the trunk and back seat upper to replace both frame rails? I am guessing that there are welds underneath that 8 inch section that have to be drilled out on both sides... if you could steer me in the right direction, I would appreciate it and if you could let me know how to look at those pictures, I would be ecstatic. Thanks in advance.
