Call Joe at Mustangs Plus in Kansas City, MO. He parted out hundreds of Mustangs over the years. His phone # is 816-483-5678. He's closed on Sundays and Mondays. According to Ford Parts the drive shafts are identical for all 65/66 Mustang V-8s using a C-4, 3 & 4 speed. They are a 2.75" diameter and 50 25/32" from universal joint cup to universal joint cup.
I read a very old post of yours that said you might have a 65 air cleaner available and that you were in Richardson. I'm across town in Carrollton and I'm working on a May 65 A code car. It was a San Jose DSO so I'm guessing it likely had closed emissions. Might you have an extra air cleaner/snorkel for such a beast or be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks, Rick
hey mustangbob1, I just read one of your old posts about zinc plating bolts and storing them by type and or head markings. My son just bought a 68 mustang from a guy that began restoring it and never finished. He basically just threw all the bolts in separate boxes without labeling any of them. I was just wondering if you know of a chart that lists the bolt lengths and bolt head markings to which part of the body it belongs to, or if you know of anybody that does and would like to shair.
