    Dear Ricer333,

I noticed your post regarding "...decided to go with Lucas brand 80w-90 gear oil". My wife and I have inherited from her Uncle his 65 Mustang Fastback 289 4v, he purchased after getting out of the Army in 65. Lucas Brand oil is common here around Kentucky and Indiana. Can you say how this worked for you?

    Most Sincerely,

Matt, see you're from Melbourne. I live in Vero Beach when I'm not in Korea with my wife who teaches military kids on the army post here, Camp Humphreys. I have a 64 1/2 Coupe, also Rangoon red. I re-did my engine a few years ago and put performance pistons and a mild cam. I'm putting a T5 transmission in this summer when I get home, and putting on new wheels and tires, rear springs as well. Later I will be doing a front disc brake conversion and doing the Shelby drop on the front upper control arms. I also have a 65 convertible. That's my wife's car. I'm just starting the restore that one. It's a 20 footer right now.

Who is doing your machine work on your engine?
