Yukon, sorry for the late reply. I believe I had an edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold and no spacer. As far as the kickdown I believe I had to bend it upwards a little to get it to fit. I also had to buy a bracket for my throttle as well. I don't have that mustang anymore and it's been about 6 years. Everything else was pretty much bolt on. All I had to do to get it to run great was to adjust the float level, which is easy. I have an edelbrock 600cfm on my 1966 with a 289 and I will probably go with that carb. I do have an autolite 4100, but my secondary jets are stuck/damaged/gonna have to drill them out so I can't comment on its performance.
