  1. Rear ended (not mustang) Use Geico's recommended shop or my own?

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
An idiot motorcyclist rear ended my F-250 last year damaging the right rear. I ended up using the Geico shop and was very satisfied, and I'm picky. I did refuse the truck at first since they hadn't fixed the paint on the tailgate as promised. They fixed it.
  2. Die cast 68 FB Costco

    Vintage Mustang Toys, Models, Collectibles
None at mine and none online. :(
  3. Build Sheet location

    Concours Forum
Very rare to find a build sheet in a Dearborn-built car. My original owner coupe doesn't have one.
  4. Tucson???

    Southwest VMFers
We are doing our fourth MCA National Show next March at the Casino Del Sol Resort. Planning will be discussed tomorrow night at the meeting. Lots to do and lots of volunteers needed for the show!
  5. What's the skinny on Arizona speed camers

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
We got rid of them in Pima County and Tucson.

  7. Engine Bay Decal Placement on a J-Code Automatic 68' Coupe

    Vintage Mustang Forum
In 1969, Ford sent the Caution Fan decals to dealerships. They instructed them to place them on earlier year cars that came in for service. Too many mechanics were being injured by fan blades. In the case of my 68 coupe, the dealership didn't do it when I took it in for service in 1969-1970.
  8. Engine Bay Decal Placement on a J-Code Automatic 68' Coupe

    Vintage Mustang Forum
No "Front" decal on a 68. No "Caution Fan" decal on a 68. And, if your car is Dearborn-built, the shock tower decal goes on the passenger tower, not the driver's.

  10. MCA National in Topeka KS July 18-21

    Vintage Mustang Forum
The reason so much is going on that the event is being put on the national club, not hosted by a regional club.
  11. Unpopular Opinions

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I'll agree with everything except engine bay color. My 68 modified fastback is Sapphire Blue and it looks gorgeous with the black engine. Also has the Hertz gold stripes on the firewall.

    Rebuild it, make it better.
  13. Insurance Renewal Question

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I have been with Hagerty and never would go back. They were a PITA to deal with for my modified fastback and the rates became outrageous. I checked with Heacock once and they generously agreed to allow me 100 miles a year for driving my coupe. Grundy has been terrific and their prices have...
  14. Insurance Renewal Question

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Yes, I'm trying to lower the premium. But, I just looked it over more and actually they raised the fastback to $50K, and lowered the coupe to $30K. Both were at $35K last year. They also added collision to the fastback without my agreement. The car is still being finished and won't be on the...
  15. Insurance Renewal Question

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I have my two Mustangs and trailer insured with Grundy and am happy with them. I'm wondering, however, about the declared value on my 1968 coupe. The new policy has it at $50,000. Although it's a unique car, I know I never could sell it for that. For those of you who are familiar with my...

  17. How Do Car Club Members Communicate?

    Vintage Mustang Forum
My club has a website plus a Facebook page, and monthly meetings except in the summer. We also have a Facebook group for our upcoming National Show. We communicate fairly well. MCA will have a new website soon, the preview of its features looked great and I'm hoping it will get more activity...
  18. Trouble Is Alive!

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Nope, can't do it. The video is from David Toth who is doing the work. Unless you're friends with him on Facebook, the link won't work. I've tried to fix it, but no luck.
