  1. Torque converter question

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I don't know how to tell but you might take it to a speed shop or transmission shop to see if anyone might be able to identify it or test it.
  2. Head Swap

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Don't forget that the 351 heads will require "conversion bolts" for the head, around $100 I think. PAW sells GT-40 Aluminum heads built up for about $536 each that I have been drooling over.

Load test it at autozone if there is one around you. It is amazing how far you can go on a battery alone. I have had similar problems and kept a spare battery in the trunk. One thing, night driving decreases how you can go on battery alone by a LOT! LOL
  12. Let's assume you're on a race track and you're driving my car.

    Vintage Mustang Forum
My un-expert opinion would be somewhere around 140-150MPH I would go about 130 before I myself would become scared to push any farther. If I was younger I would have gone as fast as it would have taken me.
