  1. 67 mustang dog dish hubcaps

    Vintage Mustang Forum
My understanding is these were part of the Exterior Decor Group option for 1967. My '67 was ordered with it, but when I bought the car in 1989, most of those options had been removed except the remote driver side mirror and the pop open gas cap.

2nd 66, are you referring to Thoroughbred GT.
  3. Getting started again.

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Hey guys, I'm back from an extended leave from the forum. Side business and life has gotten in the way, but I'm back at it. So to begin, I had a Bendpak HD 9 installed on Friday to give me some more room to work. Now with the '65 Fastback up in the air, I can clearly see what I'm up against...
  4. Best quarter panels?

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Thanks Rick. I'm not ready to buy just yet, but as soon as the temps cool off here, I plan to dig my heels in and get the metal work finished.
  5. Best quarter panels?

    Vintage Mustang Forum
My 67 coupe is going to need a RH quarter panel. NPD Charlotte is about 45 minutes north of me but are the ones they've got pretty accurate as far as the body lines go?

  7. Harbor Freight Plasma Cutter?

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
palerider, that Longevity looks like a good unit for the price. However, it does not list the country of origin. Do you know or are we to assume it is made in the US or China? How's the cutter been holding up for you?
  8. Harbor Freight Plasma Cutter?

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
Ok, so yes I have looked at all the links and other forum posts that Gypsy suggested. They all look like they will work. I only looked at HF first because I can buy in the local store. I do understand the hit and miss items at HF and normally only buy items from there that are inexpensive or...
  9. Harbor Freight Plasma Cutter?

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
Thanks guys, I have to save some $$$ now to get one. I can use it on the floor pans of the coupe as well as the fastback. I have to essentially do a complete replacement of the front and rear frame rails as well as the floor and possibly the lower part of the firewall. This was an Ohio car and...
  10. Harbor Freight Plasma Cutter?

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
Hey gang. It's been a while since I have been on here. Work and side business has gotten in the way of progress. Anyway, has anyone used one of the plasma cutters from Harbor Freight? It appears I am going to need have to do a Thoroughbred GT floor/frame assembly for the Fastback and from what I...
  11. Radiator support

    Classic Mustang Wanted Ads
Hi guys, I am looking for a radiator support for a '67 coupe that has a good rust free right side. I'd like to patch the lower right corner of my original if possible as that is the only bad area on it. If all else fails, a good template of the right side of an original will work as well so I...
  12. Power steering or manual 67 S Code

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I have not decided on exhaust yet. If I stick with the heads it has on it I'll likely go FPA or Sanderson headers.
  13. Power steering or manual 67 S Code

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Hey guys, I am quite a ways from the point of driving the car again, but I need advice. My 67 S code coupe was originally a manual everything car including steering, but the 390 I picked up to replace the missing original was pulled from a 67 Fairlane 500 and it has the power steering pump as...
  14. PSA, get yourself checked! Colonoscopy

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
I'm 42 now and I had one of these done a couple years ago because I was having abdominal pains. Dr. said it was the beginning stages of ulcerative colitis, but it was only inflamed and no lesions or polyps/tumors found and no bleeding either. It started back up again about two weeks ago and is...
  15. Most Desirable FoxBody?

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
I actually found "Said Unicorn" Never beat on but has/had tons of miles (just rebuilt it 30 over) and needs paint. Otherwise factory 1990 5.0 5spd LX coupe w/ Gray & Black interior. ***NOT FOR SALE***
  16. VMF tee shirts & Decal ???

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
Looks like my idea to get my brother to do the printing is a bust as he sold his equipment. Hopefully someone else has a lead on a company or person that can do it.
  17. VMF tee shirts & Decal ???

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
I'm down for a couple t shirts and a maybe a long sleeved one or a hoodie. I say we all prepay once the logo is secured as well as the printer. My brother was doing shirts a while back as a side business. I'll see if he still has the equipment and wants the business and get back to everyone.
  18. Hurst shifter issue.

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Is this a new issue or did you just the car and or just put the Trans in after a restoration? If the linkage rods are in the right spots, it is probably the shifter binding up. With you being in the UK, it's going to be hard to find another shifter to install to test the theory of it being the...
  19. Hurst shifter issue.

    Vintage Mustang Forum
It looks to be centered correctly but sitting too high up towards the floor.
  20. Hurst shifter issue.

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I have the same shifter in my 67 and it clears the tunnel with no issues. That's why I said it is likely the Trans mount making the tailshaft sit too high up.
