  1. Good quality shorty header.

I used JBA's titanium on my 69 w/351w, auto w/power steering and had no problems with fitment. As mentioned, I do have a hard time getting a socket on the #4 plug. Just over a year later and they are still holding up fine. They lost the shiny appearance which helps make them look more natural in...
  2. Issues with Directv

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
Seems starting back in 2018, they are doing away with the phone line connection. And even if you still have the box that has the plug, they are turning off the Caller ID on screen function, even though its still in the hardware to show it. The latest software updates have removed the icon to...
  3. 1969 Mach 1 Deluxe Door Panels

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Very possible the issue with my originals, as the car was sitting outside and not running for many years before I purchased it. They looked great, but one winter day, the outer shell got hard, brittle and cracked when I put my arm down on the door pull area, exposing the inner foam.
  4. 1969 Mach 1 Deluxe Door Panels

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Back in the 80's, my 69 door panels were soft. It got cold down here in Florida, and when I put my arm down on them the vinyl covering cracked. I have no idea who's I have now, I purchased them in the 90's I think. They have metal under the curved upper section and the rest is a thicker plastic...

My 1st car show for 2020 in Down Town Hollywood Fla. The show had to close its gates as it filled to capacity with 107 cars. Only 40 of them went away with trophies. Oh Yeah, I got me one. My show Photo Gallery http://www.redshost.com/show/2020-01-DCC/
  10. Wheelhop, who’s got it and what was the fix.

    Mod and Custom Forum
As mentioned, Traction bars would be the least expensive and most effective device. Summit Racing® Traction Bars SUM-770501 I installed Traction Master Under Ride bars, many do not like them stating binding issues. I have had no problems with them for the year that I have had them on the car...

I just read, that due to the large amount of attending cars at the #PITS Shine Run party (Poker Run), they are having to move from the Quaker Steak & Lube location along the Little Pigeon River, to someplace larger! And not yet confirmed, but a stop in Gatlinburg may have been added to the Shine...

Drag Day In 2019, an “unofficial” drag day was held just up the road in Newport, Tennessee at English Mountain Raceway to see if people would be interested in an official event later. Even with the chance of weather, over 100 Mustangs showed up to take their shot down the 1/8th mile at English...

Yes, a P1 will do this, but not recommended for a P2 or P3.
  16. Pertronix I module and Flamethrower coil wiring

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I think I have your answer, at least this is how it works on my 69. When cranking, you need the power from the I terminal of the starter relay to supply voltage to the coil as the original Pink(resistor) wire from the ignition switch shuts down with the key in the start position. Once the engine...
  17. 1968 Air-Conditioning -- Rebuild stock or full aftermarket kit. York vs. Sanden compressor.

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I used FrostyCool refrigerant in my Sanden compressor A/C system. I had/have a problem were my low side still has higher than desired pressure, but the system is cooling around 20 deg below ambient. I painted the compressor black so it does not stand out as much. I do have my own pulldown pump...

Sorry, I tried but w/o lifting the car or taking the wheel off, I cant get my camera in there to see that area.
  19. I finally have my Dream 69

    Vintage Mustang Gallery
Nice looking car. If you go with the Boss look you might want to change the GT gas cap for a standard cap to reduce confusion. Just my opinion, you do what you want with your car. :)
  20. Long past threads

    General Discussion (Non-Vintage Mustang)
Old threads do not bother me, as long as the forum does not display them as being current and then everyone starts responding to them.
