  1. Just Another Clutch assembly problem

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Not a brand name but a long style from the parts house. I did not ask who made it as I discovered the original had a broken pin on one of the fingers the day we were stuffing everything into the car.

  3. Just Another Clutch assembly problem

You seem to know about this a more than I so if everything is toast should I remove the entire assembly or just get bushing and wrestle the spring off and back on in the car? Thanks for input.... GT
  4. Just Another Clutch assembly problem

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I notice you used a term "over center" helper spring. That seems to be my problem, the pedal does not stay up at all. Regardless if it is connected to Z bar or not the pedal wants to go down. Based on the term you use, i assume there is an area at the top (pedal up) where it is in a neutral...
  5. Just Another Clutch assembly problem

Actually I kept 3 finger borg-beck style clutch. But I cannot figure why the pedal will not come all the way up. I assume that the lower spring is pull the TO away from the fingers but so far I haven't found a spring that will overcome the upper spring and pull it back. What am I missing here?

I know this may have been beat to death but here goes. 1967 Fastback 390 and now a fiver instead of a top loader The problem I am having is I think missing parts. Rebuilt engine several months ago and put in the five speed. Since the rebuild I had a problem with the throwout bearing going...
  7. Radiator opinion

    Vintage Mustang Forum
I tried several variations of radiators after rebuilding car and motor. This included a standard 3 core that ended up getting trashed on engine stand. A recored 3 to 4 core radiator. After adding AC it did not cool well. Bought a griffin 2 core and although it cooled a little better the...

1967 through 1968 Mustang Parts For Sale
I have a griffin 7-00042 exact fit radiator for sale. $400.00 plus shipping.. I bought this for my 67 on a friend (who owns a garage) recommendation. First. I thought since it said 'exact fit' it meant that. Turns out the dimensions are a little off. It is 15 X 23 X 2.68 and is a little more...

  12. I hate to ask.... 351c carb recommendation

    Vintage Mustang Forum
More than likely your the 750 came with a 29 nozzle on primary. You can boost it by 3 numbers and that may help but I would not go any larger than 35. If it is still raising hell with you change the white cam on the accelerator pump. I would try the blue cam and see how that works out for...

    Vintage Mustang Forum
Mine has basically a like type cam but I used icon pistons. Instead of taking a hydraulic lifter a part I went out and bought a dumb bell lifter for I & E for checking. Used the inner spring only for checking. If the head gasket was a felpro in the rebuild kit then it is .052 compressed...

Not knowing the fox setup, I went with fitech poweradder. I am 90% satisfied and the reason being is that like others had problem with the 1st fitech. The first was not fun. Doctor said it was benign brought on by calcium deposits in inner ear. Said that most drugs perscribed for the same do little to help. Suggested i try meclizine (also found in dramamine). It is over the counter meds. That was about 5 yrs ago. Since, i have noticed...

I bought the power adder 600 and it went in very smooth. Learning went well and the car ran great. Having said that, I did have a problem caused by the fan harness getting caught in lower pulley. Hit the circuit breaker a couple of times but in the meantime the handheld unit flashed "flash...
