History
Car was restored in the early 90s with NOS parts. Car then sat 18 years before I acquired the Mustang in early 2020 and gave it a mechanical and aesthetic refresh

A code 289 warmed to around 300 hp, Factory 4 speed, 3.0 Posi center section. Power Steering, Kelsey Hays disc brakes,

factory deluxe black pony interior, center console, rally pac, factory air conditioning

Factory GT package, fog lights, polished door sills, power convertible top
Audio
Custom Auto Sound (never use the stereo because the exhaust is music to my ears)
Lighting
LED H4 Headlights balanced to 4300 kelvin, sequential LED tail lights. All exterior and interior lights upgraded to LED
Exhaust
2.5 inch with Borla Mufflers, K code manifolds, GT trumpets
Suspension
Factory GT suspension with QA1 single stage fully adjustable shocks

You know its really amusing to see a GT everywhere now... I grew up with a K-code, and Dad paid $4,020.80 for it... I never saw another GT but very rarly... I drove it to High School, then garaged it thru college, then much until now--I drive it a lot... seems as though these Gt's are more popular than any other mustang from April 64 -August 66... but back when they came out in April 65... never saw a but a few... really rare... I just roll my eyes when I see one now--99% are fakes. Nice car--Nice Mustang, Nice Car.
