History
It is an original Fastback. It has all 4 of it's original body numbers.
It's a C code auto car. Presidential Blue with Black interior. Pretty Kool options stock. I have changed the drive train to 482 ci Side Oiler with a custom built Top Loader wide ratio, big in big out. McLeod clutch. I use a Hurst. Custom made 4 inch Aluminum drive shaft with 1350 joints. Rear axle is a custom 3 inch tube heavy duty housing with a aftermarket case and Yukon Locker with 3.50 gears. Made in Italy. So it has Italian racing gears.
The engine is a Genesis Block based Side Oiler. 4.250" bore. Scat crank with a 4.250" stroke.
Scat Rods and pump gas friendly pistons. BBM heads. Valve job by Me. Used REV valves with 45* seat.
Comp Cam solid roller. Not too crazy. Ford Factory Tunnel Wedge intake. 2 Holley 650 carbs. Runs great. I have had it running since 2019. And done a few long distance runs with it. Best engine I have built. The body is rough but it is sound and had a few patch's, but for the most part it is all original. I could buy a Dynacorn body and make it a perfect body, but then it's not the same car I bought a long time ago. And shinny paint will not make this car faster.😁
The Loon e Bin. The trailer changes the car. The car is now an all purpose vehicle. I can take it anywhere and setup camp and enjoy life and make supper. It is a true Sports Utility Vehicle.
