This car was originally was deliver to Louisville KY Ford dealership, the owner who purchase it added the GT package, change the color from Limegold to Alcapculco blue, replace the C4 trans w/ a 4 speed. It can be seen on the website Bill's Classic Cars in Alabama under the sold section with cream color warehouses in the background. The buyer in Sykesville, MD had brought a eng. and bored and stroked it to 347 ci,3.55 gears, Magnaflow exhaust w/ Borla tips, Global west subframe, remote oil filter and Nitrous setup.
1968 Ford Fastback (Alcapulco Blue)
The previous owner replaced the original 302 with a Pacific Coast Performance 347 ci custom built. engine. It was stroked to 347 ci, with fully forged crank, rods, pistons, hard oil line, with a Nitrous setup. I removed the nitrous kit in favor of being a cruiser and not a bruiser.
Replaced stock front seats with Glide engineering high back seats with headrest with 3 point seat belts. Added humphugger console/armrest/cupholder. Added new wood steering wheel. Installed A-pillar numbered temperature gauge and tac.
Removed GT styled hood with turn signals indicator, replaced it with Shelby short style hood. Replace stock sideview mirror with 69-70 dual racing mirrors. Removed existing white "C" stripe and replaced in with black reflective "C" stripe, added special hood scoop graphics and running pony decals with reflective film. Rocker panel moldings where redone to mimic 65-66 striped rocker panel moldings.
