• Purchased new by Gwendolyn S. Barron (owner #1) from Phil Long Ford, Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 12, 1965
• Sold to Bill D. & Phyllis Z. Baker (owners #2) of Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 25, 1971; sold to Just Right Motors of Englewood, Colorado on August 17, 2012
• Purchased by me (owner #3) from Just Right Motors on September 8, 2012

Modifications

Drivetrain
ENGINE:
• Replaced stock air cleaner installing Scott Drake concours “Hi-Po” air cleaner
• Replaced stock oil filler cap, radiator cap & oil dipstick with chrome reproductions
• Replaced stock 1x2V intake manifold with Shelby Cobra S2MS-type 1x4V aluminum high-rise
• Replaced stock 2V Autolite carburetor with 4V Holley 4160 aluminum Street Performance 600-cfm
• Replaced stock valve covers with Cobra open-letter finned aluminum type
• Replaced stock thermostat housing w/ aftermarket chrome housing
• Replaced stock oil pan with Tony D. Branda 7.5 Qt aluminum “T” Cobra style
• Replaced points/condenser installing PerTronix Igniter II electric ignition
• Replaced stock 55-amp Alternator with Powermaster 100-amp 1-wire type

EXHAUST:
• Replaced stock single exhaust installing custom 2 ¼” dual exhaust with Flowmaster S40 mufflers
• Replaced stock exhaust manifolds with Hedman thermal-coated “shortie” headers

TRANSMISSION:
• Replaced stock C4 3-speed transmission with rebuilt 1989 Mustang AOD 4-speed transmission including B&M HoleShot 2400 torque converter

REAR END:
• Replaced stock (2.89:1) rear end gearing with 3.55:1 final gearing
Interior
• Replaced stock steering wheel installing Grant Classic Wood 15” steering wheel
• Installed light blue Humphugger console
• Replaced stock pedal/pads with stainless steel-trimmed “deluxe” type
• Replaced stock glove box door and instrument bezel with reproduction “deluxe” woodgrain types
• Replaced stock interior installing 2-tone hybrid “deluxe” (Pony) interior including door panels (installation of sport seat foams/covers, and quarter panel covers I/P)
Exterior
• Replaced stock “corral” grille emblem, installing Shelby GT350 “running horse” grille emblem
• Replaced mirror w/ Rotunda-type
Audio
• Replaced stock AM radio/dash speaker installing Custom Autosound USA630 AM/FM stereo with iPod interface and Kenwood in-dash & kick panel speakers; installed Kenwood KAC-8405 Power Amplifier and Bazooka BTA6100 Subwoofer

Suspension
SUSPENSION:
• Relocated upper control arms (Shelby/Arning drop)
• Replaced stock Pitman/idler arms installing Shelby-style quick steering kit; rebuilt idler arm w/ ORP roller bearing kit
• Replaced stock front sway bar installing Scott Drake 1” sway bar w/ polyurethane bushings
• Replaced stock front springs installing Scott Drake progressive rate coil springs
• Replaced stock tubular engine compartment bracing installing Monte Carlo bar
• Replaced shock absorbers installing KYB Gas-A-Just
• Installed export brace
• Replaced rear leaf springs with Scott Drake 1” drop 4.5-leaf mid-eye springs with poly bushings
• Installed Traction Master under ride traction bars
• Replaced spring perches with ORP roller-bearing type

BRAKES:
• Replaced single-bowl brake master cylinder installing dual-bowl master cylinder
• Replaced front rotors & pads, installing StopTech slotted/drilled rotors & Hawk Performance HPS pads; replaced stock (front) hoses w/ Russell braided stainless steel; refurbished OEM Kelsey-Hayes calipers
Wheel and Tire
Stock-ish sized white wall tires on OEM 14" steel wheels with factory-optioned Wire Wheel Covers
