History
Built in San Jose and shipped/sold new in Phoenix area. Car was one of 22,232 Luxury Coupes. It has the following options: 65B Luxury Coupe, V8, Auto, AC, PS, PB, Push button radio, Visibility Group, Console, Tinted front glass, Padded Visors, rocker panel moldings, cigarette lighter, and maybe more (not sure about what wheels/tires it came with or what the dealer may have added) Arrived in New Mexico in 2000 then Texas in 2012 and Tennessee in 2015. I purchased the car in 2018 bringing it to the rustbelt (Chicago). Solid car but had previous quarter panel damage from a wreck some time in the cars history. They did a terrible job fixing it so now car is being restored with some upgrades. If rust is found it will be replaced with new. Modifications

Drivetrain
Engine: Built to be street driven 363 cubic inch Dart bock, 11 to 1 compression. Molnar crank and H-beam rods, ARP competition 195's, Howards roller cam/lifters/roller rockers, Edelbrock Super Victor, Holley Sniper and controls. Dyno'd 557hp and 482lb/ft on carb with mild tune. There is more in it and it can handle a lot of NOS, more tuning once it's all together on EFI. Built 4R70W with 3200 stall. 35 spline 9” rear end, Lots more.
Interior
Factory Pony car with AC. Keeping close to stock but will freshen as needed. New headliner, console, trim, dash, carpet, etc.. Three point front seat-belts. Replacing steering wheel and installing a Rally Pac. Installed a convertible seat riser to help stiffen things up.
Exterior
New paint job. Lots and lots of new metal. Custom steel shelby hood. All new chrome and stainless, Restoration underway. Will end up with a ton of pictures by the time it is completed. Not decided on color yet. Rolling the fenders, and probably more mods for future tire upgrades. Aftermarket body parts are not the easiest thing to work with!
Audio
Watching wife trying to find something to hang on to :) Retrosound radio but not sure it matters.
Lighting
Added fog lights, rest is new stock or upgraded Halogen/LED. No real category for it but installing new wiring everywhere and one wire alternator.
Exhaust
JBA long tube headers with H-pipe and full 2 1/2 inch exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Not finished yet.
Suspension
Rebuilt front with Arning/Shelby drop, GW plus 3 upper and lower tubular A-arms, Street or Track adjustable strut rods, welded strut rob braces, Opentracker welded shock tower/trans am bracket, GW raised shock tower support, welded 67 style torque boxes in front, new export brace and adjustable Monte Carlo bar, progressive front springs one coil removed, swivel spring perches, SSBC front disc brake conversion, 11" rear drum upgrade, Z-Ray front cross member, 1" drop 4.5 Mid Eye leaf springs rear, 4 Bilstein shocks, Sub frame connectors. Lots more. Looking into what traction aids are needed and rear sway bar and/or panhard bar or watts link.
Wheel and Tire
Came with Goodyear 695/14 Power Cushion - Dual 3/8" Redlines. Will put these away for now or sell, they do not work with the brake upgrade. New 17x8x4.81 Torque Thrust II wheels with 235/45/17 tires. Going to need bigger rear tires and will see what fits after mild modifications!
