Bought on the first day mustangs were introduced in 1964. Built 5 days later, delivered to Fairfield Ford, Ohio. Vehicle had a drivers side accident apparently in 1967, door and both left fenders were replaced at Fairfield Ford dealership in 1967 according to documents found in the car. Vehicle was moved to CA in the early 1980s by the second owner. I purchased from 2nd owner in 2003 and rebuilt transmission, replaced some rusted frame components, replaced interior with the correct color (had a 1966 dark red interior when purchased), repainted, rebuilt most mechanical components, and completely rewired the entire vehicle. Engine was strong and did not require rebuild but I pressure-cleared all coolant ports and repainted the engine and heads with the engine out.
