my first car was a '72 Mustang. 351 Holley 4-barrel, Hurst 4-speed, posi-traction, coupe. had it for 10 years. at some point years later I must have told my son I had to sell it because it was not a family friendly car. about 10 years ago he started looking for it or one close. two months ago he found single owner '72 Mustang with 34,442 miles on it. he bought it and gave it to me as project car. this one has the 302 2-V, and auto trans but is a coupe and in decent shape. Lots of work for me but I still have the shop manuals for my original and all the tuning tools (timing light, dwell meter, vacuum gauge, etc.). Still in the process of remembering everything (like where the timing marks are - I found them) and all the rest. but looking forward to this keeping me busy in retirement. so I will lean heavy on this site for ideas and help. hopefully I will get back in the saddle quickly and also provide some help to other. please have patience and wish me luck.

no mods but the hoses and seals need to be replaced.
none. driver seat is no longer adjustable for back support but I think that will be easy enough to fix.
none. needs some body work and does have on spot of cancer in the left rear trunk well.
am-fm radio. but the antenna is missing so easy fix there.
