    Hi, I have a 1969 ford mustang with a 302. I am planning to upgrade to an electric fan for better cooling at idle. Should I just put in a bigger alternator, or should I get a secondary alternator with an auxiliary battery?

    I installed an electric fan in my 65 k-code fastback. The fan won't kick on when it reaches the temp where it should. I have to adjust it to have it come on. This adjustment means the fan runs all the time. Any suggestions on what I have done wrong?
