Hi-I am a new user to the group and hoping that someone would have knowledge about replacing the ball joint on a ‘66 upper. I removed rivets from the stock ball and replaced with a moog. Car is up on jack stands but this angle concerns me. Is this normal?
To add a touch of nerdy detail, there’s actually an obscure factory tool that is intended to prop up the suspension when its jacked off the ground to prevent full droop. So you’re not wrong to think that angle looks severe.
I just use a section of 2x4, but whatever works.
