I’m always told that “driving swiftly” is the recommended procedure 😉Kinda gutsy letting Jay drive a car with an engine that was still in the 'breaking-in' phase.
As stated, that was early production. 3.50 was added to the 3.89 and 4.11 options.Didn't know the rear end options were so high, wow. 3.90 and 4.11 only for '64 HiPo cars?
The exhaust sounds like Arvinode.I love the color and the exhaust note. Nice car
I expect it was as those were only available on the early cars. The exhaust sounds like Arvinode.
What does that mean? The exhaust sounds like Arvinode.
1965-69 Ford Mustang V8 Arvinode Base Model Dual ExhaustWhat does that mean?
Cool, thanks for the info.
Don't know for sure what's under this particular car but the Arvinode system came later, in the autumn and was used until they switched to the common GT dual muffler style. In the beginning, they used a dual system with a transverse muffler: Virginia Classic Mustang Blog: Just the Details...64 1/2-Early 65 HiPo Mustang Transverse Dual Exhaust SystemThe exhaust sounds like Arvinode.
I see smoke in the very end, so.....Kinda gutsy letting Jay drive a car with an engine that was still in the 'breaking-in' phase.
It just might do that until the rings seat. Did y'all not hear Jay say he not driving it hard because it's a newly built motor? I think Jay would be one of few I'd let drive my car.I see smoke in the very end, so.....![]()
