My dad got the car from his brother in 71. Packed among three cars in a two car garage for 30 years we finally decided to start fixing her up three years ago. I highly recommend getting a reproduction of the original two resonator and one transverse muffler set up. Which is what this has. Quiet enough and no drone. Also we got the squeaks down to a minimum by installing new 4 leaf springs. And the Scott drake progressive coils with rolling perches and a 3/4 inch eurethane bushings.GoRgEoUs ride! Tell us about it.
Thanks. The painter put the emblems on. They had the “points” you pushed into the sheet metal.Very nice. The quarter panel ornament delete looks nice. Did it come with a tiffany stripe or did you weld up the holes?

I agree with you, leave them off. A vert that color with chrome Cragars is classic to the max. Beautiful @Mustang-ct!That's the quarter panel ornament. Came stock on all 65 convertibles except those with tiffany stripes or GT's. I would leave it off, looks cleaner.
