can a person make a fastback from a coupe 1965 mustang? i am curious if it could be done by just changing the rear quarters and top? if you know an article with it as well?

Yes..VMFer Cruzers 1+1 turned his nice coupe into a FB

there are a few members who have done this... I just saw a fastback roof on ebay the other day for sale. You need to look into it.

I don't think you need to change the quarters, just the top.

The salvage yards used to make one car from two years ago.The cut was about 6 inches down on the windshield pillars and accross the floor under the front seat.They cut right straight accross.This worked on cars where one had some rearend damage and the other front end, both could be totalled out but one car could be built from the two.Did not matter if one was a fastbac and the other a coupe where the cuts were they joined up fine.

Doors are the same - glass is different. Vent window and frame is same.
