Is there a difference in the rear quarter panel between coupe and convertible?
if yes, what modifcation needed to use convertible on a coupe?

Yes there is a difference. I had the reverse problem a coupe quarter to fit on a convertible. The top where it attaches to the sail (or on the vert the edge of the opening) is not the same. My solution was to cut the top off of the vert remove the top portion from the coupe and weld the vert part back on. With some work it came out fine. The reason for this is the 1/4 was "free with the car" part and lots of other stuff. Half of it was junk . . . . Any way as I'm in Alaska the cost to buy a new part and pay the $150 shipping not a good option. If the top of the coupe 1/4 is good it's not too difficult. I'll try to attach a couple of pictures. I don't have a before of the coupe but will attach o photo of my real coupe showing the top which is under the sail. Also a couple of pic's of the "finished" vert 1/4 on the car. Hope this helps.
