1965 Ford Mustang. Restored and ready to go. Drive anywhere. 2 owner, original Houston DSM car. No rust. This car has been in Houston since 1965. Originally C code (I have original 2bbl intake manifold) converted to a A code spec with GT valance with trumpet exhaust.
I have lots of paperwork from 2nd owner who had it since 1984.

BODY
-Professional bodywork with 4 coats Deltron basecoat/clearcoat; in Rangoon Red
INTERIOR
-New dash, seat covers, door panels, kick panels, carpets, underlayment, headliner, Vintage A/C system
TRIM
-New bumpers, grill, mouldings, weatherstripping, door locks
DRIVETRAIN
-Engine and C4 transmission were rebuilt; rear axle bearings and seals replaced (See below for more Engine build specs)
SUSPENSION
-New steering wheel, 16:1 manual steering box, coil springs, upper & lower control arms, shocks, wheels, tires, rear helper leaf springs
BRAKES
-Manual disc/drum. New rotors, rebuilt K/H calipers, brake pads, drums, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, master cylinder, lines
FUEL SYSTEM
-New fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor
COOLING SYSTEM
-New water pump, heater core, hoses, aluminum radiator, timing cover
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
-New wiring harnesses – engine/interior/taillights. New battery, starter, alternator
Engine professionally rebuilt with Master Deluxe Engine Rebuild kit consisting of:
TRW Cast Pistons, +.030”, 9:1 Compression Ratio
Michigan (Clevite 77) Main and Rod bearings, + .010” and Cam bearings
Competition Cams camshaft kit with lifters and springs
Sealed Power pushrods
Melling Hi-volume oil pump
Cloyes Double roller timing chain set
Fel-Pro Deluxe engine gasket set
Brass Freeze plug kit
Block preparation and work:
Remove cam bearings, freeze plugs and oil plugs
Boil block, oil pan, valve covers and timing cover
Bore cylinders + .030” oversize and diamond hone to each piston
Install new cam bearings
Install new freeze plugs and oil plugs
Paint block black
Head preparation and work:
Remove freeze plugs
Boil
Install all 16 new valve guides w/seals
Install 8 new exhaust valves
3-angle valve job
Surface heads
Install new freeze plugs
Paint black
Crankshaft:
Boil
Undercut rod and main journals - .010”
Chamfer oil holes
Rods:
Remove pistons
Re-size rod journals to standard diameter
Check all rods for straightness
Install new pistons
