When I painted my clone, I wanted the stripes painted on. I wanted this for a few reasons.
1. the color of the side stripes on the side would be the same as the lemans stripes.
2. the stripes wouldn't wear like a vinyl sticker does
3. it can be cleaned and waxed without any dry wax getting caught on the edge

I wasn't sure if I wanted to use the 1966 dimension or the 1965, so I made a stencil for each of them. I ended up using the 1966, so I'm offering for sale the 1965 stencil here.

The stencil is a positive stencil. As you can see the painter painted the blue first, then taped out the stripe and then painted white and clear coated over both. This allows for a great finished product.

Offered for sale for $28 paypal, including postage in the lower 48.

Only one left; the kind where the car color is painted first, the the stripes second. Last one and that is it. If you are going to be doing a clone in the future, you will be kicking yourself if you don't snap this up now.
