I have a 65 mustang with a 5.0 out of an 87 Mustang GT. I purchased a radiator from Windsor-Fox and used 1966 motor mounts but now the stock fan (from the 87 5.0) wont fit and I only have 3 3/8" between the radiator and the bolt heads on the water pump pully. Has anyone ran across this issue? Is it possible to buy a fan clutch assembly with a shorter shaft or should I look into a slim electric puller fan?

Yes, there is a short fan clutch. I don't know what it came off of originally or a part number but somebody who does know will be along soon.
