Nobody will tell you whether it's a good buy without knowing the condition of the car. As for the bench seat - it's real value to you depends on whether you like it or not. I think they're pretty cool and would pick one up for my fastback if I found one in a salvage yard. The benches are more rare than buckets because no one really cared for them back then, the general populus still doesn't. You'll never wow the neighbors with a bench seat like you might with a Rally-Pac or console.
Your posts will be much easier on the eye if you lay off the capitalization. It will be much more readable and you'll be more likely to get a response.
Thanks the caps are a habit I have owned a 65 289 auto coupe and my first car was a 66 coupe fact 200 3spd which my dad and I converted to a 351w with a toploader He currently has a 68 convertible and is 2nd owner he is ready to sell , I am looking for a new project thanks for the info
It would make a great converstion piece. I saw one at the MCA show in Pensecola and I thought it was nice. Midlife even asked the guy if he could sit in it!
My 67 has 1 of the 8000 for 67. I REALLY LOVE IT. My car is a performance car and honestly I like the feel of the center hump. It gives me better cornering for my butt (ie I don't slide around nearly as much. I put a pair of 69 highback buckets in for a while and I constantly felt like I was going to fall out of the seat. Beside its real good for your lady to curl up next to you on long trips!
