I am offering my 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback A-code for sale. It is a “real” GT, with the factory buck plate and all authentic accessories present, and except for the wheels and tires, the car appears completely stock. Reason for sale - imminent retirement, moving away, lack of use, evolved interests.

The car is appraising in the $60's, but I will listen to offers in the $50's. PM me if interested.

Over the last two years, I have completely gone through the whole car to clean, repair, freshen, upgrade and modernize everything. There are tons of posts about this car on VMF ("Stella" - '66 Fastback Factory GT). It is now a solid, reliable, fast and beautiful Mustang that you can just drive to a car show.

It is stock on the outside, but it is a restomod underneath. The majority of the mods are bolt on (no hacking, cutting, welding or tributing) and are reversible back to true factory, if desired.

Engine:
  • The original 289 V8 block (by date code)

Beautiful and well sorted car. I’ve always admired it. Sorry to see you selling, but I’m sure the next owner will enjoy the heck out of it. Good luck with the sale and your retirement.
