Hello Team,

Is it safe to assume that Ford originally installed a grommet in the oblong hole in the firewall for the parking brake cable? I can't seem to find a part number Online. Just a round grommet collapsed to fit?

Anybody got a part number or a size? (I don't have access to my car right now.)

Thanks in advance.

It is more of a foam sleeve than it is a grommet. I looked and I can't find one on line for you. I have always used old ones.
Thank you kindly. That's very helpful. I wasn't sure if it should be a typical rubber grommet. Unfortunately, I never had the original parking brake assembly for this car and ALL of the rubber was stripped off the chassis by the PO.
