Got my email from VMF an this post jumped out
I owned the blue car for over 40 years. Most of these cars were never advertised for sale. The green car was the last one sold at BJ a few years ago for $1.1 Mil. It's now in the Brother's Collection.

I have the write up of the 12 Shelby Mustang convertibles in the “HotRod Mustang” magazines when I was a senior in high school back in the 80’s. It was really cool to see them doing that. My have things changed. I still have my 65 fastback from back then.

Regardless of real/replica/continuation or other provenance, it actually looks like a nice car. I mean compared to some of the 'fully restored' specimens we've seen posted. This one seems to lack the over spray on the worn suspension components, the oil filter and even over the 'original' road grime we've seen in the recent past. (Rare 64.5 Shelby)

Let's help @morgangeddes out with a running list of things that need to be fixed to make it actually look like a continuation car. Feel free to add to the list:

1. Color: continuation cars were white and blue or blue and white
2. Tach should be mounted on the dash
3. Wrong steering wheel
4. Looks like the shift lever is out of an F250
5. Missing side scoops
6. Engine must be a 289 Hipo, not 302
7. Should not have AC
8. Wrong export brace
9. Missing side scoops
10. Wrong wheels
11. Wrong brake MC and booster
12. Should not have rocker molding
13. No roll bar
14. Missing Koni shocks
15. Missing Shelby American VIN plate
16. Wrong radiator
17. Battery relocated
18. Hood pins located on radiator support , not at bumper mounts
19. No washer fluid bag
20. Wrong horns
21. Wrong seats
22. Wrong Tach

Granted, there is a lot that cannot be seen in the limited number of pictures. To complete the above list the new buyer could easily spend $75k to have a respectable REPLICA of a continuation car, a tad more than a long weekend.
