Quick question , on a 66 289 distributor should it have a male female thread on it for hard pipe or did it come with a nipple on it for a rubber hose connection , also when primering the oil punp before starting a fresh engine to you spin the shaft clockwise or counter clockwise?, its been a few years since I've primed a motor, thanks, Pete

The '66 vacuum advance had a threaded connection for a hard line. That fitting was removable and shim washers could be added or removed to adjust the vacuum advance.

When priming the oil pump you turn it in the direction of distributor rotation or, Counter Clockwise.
