My 67 has factory power drum brakes.

I gather that this is a Midland booster since it has a clamp band. It has the FoMoCo script on the top.

RockAuto will rebuild this booster for $275 + shipping 2 ways.

I dont want to spend that much on the booster. Is their a generic that I can substitute that will work with my pedal and firewall?

RockAuto also lists a rebuilt Cardone Bendix booster for $165 + shipping.

I will save the Midland booster and trade it for something down the road since they seem to be pretty hard to come by.

At some point I will put factory discs on the front, I may go to manual brakes then. My 65 has manual disc/drum and Im happy with those.

Automatic Trans, or 4 speed.
Difference is diameter which effects the Z bar linkage.

Don't send it to Rock. Send it to Booster Dewey. There is no generic that works as well.

Im working on two cars and dont want to spend a bunch of money on a booster right now. The past 3 months Im 3k into PS, tilt, WP, intake, carb and a bunch of other stuff on the 65 and 4k into wheels, tires, new engine, suspension on the 67.

Time to catch my breath on the spending.

Im going to bypass the booster for now and deal with it later.
