I need help to make sure i do this right the first time!
the grille on my 67 Mustang JR was broken when i got it. using a cad program and the pieces that are left we were able to make a pretty darned good mechanical drawing of the original piece. the only thing that we are not sure of is the width of the bars on top and bottom of the corral. the shadow line helped but i would like to get it right

this is what we have so far (using mdf to make a mold master) it needs some finish sanding before the silicone mold is made off of it. since these cars were made to scale someone who has a real car should be able to tell me if the bars on top and bottom of the corral are too wide or not

As I look at a full size corral off of a '67 it seems tht they are too wide and too tall.

If I buy another Mustang my wife is going to divorce me. I sure am going to miss her.

Hi, the full size one is 3 11/16 outside to outside of the corral top to bottom but on the full size one the wide part of the corral is at the bottom John

maybe they look to tall because they are so fat?
the shadow line was fairly visible to give us the overall height dimension. i used a 35th anniversary front fender emblem to replace the pony "just the right size" had to cut off the ring and red white and blue. i will make a silicone mold of it also so that they 2 pices match as far as surface finish goes!
thanks for the help
