I saw these cars this weekend in Rhode Island so I'm letting folks here know about them.

The first is a 1967 (apparently) factory GT in dark (Presidential?) blue with a white top and white deluxe interior. The shifter is a Hurst competition plus with the white ball shift knob. The 390 is currently not in the car, but goes with it.

Structurally, it appears fairly solid. I saw no evidence of body panel rust and the inside of the trunk looks perfect. The drivers floor pan has rust-thru, though. According to the restoration shop that has the car, that's the extent of the rust repair needed.

The shock towers look OK but both have the hole in them for getting at the upper grease fitting.

The interior upholstery needs replacing but all the trim bits appear to be there. It has a power top and power front disc brakes. There is a set of tired, but possibly saveable, '68-69 styled steel wheels on the car.

This car belongs to the brother of the restoration shop owner. The restorer thinks the asking price is $10K but also thought an offer south of that would be considered.

The GT-350 is undergoing restoration but its owner wants to sell it. The car is apparently complete and the restorer believes the owner would accept an offer in the high 20's.

It's currently red but the door jambs have already been painted Wimbledon white in prepartion for the car to get that as the new color (don't know if it's the original).

If anyone is interested in either of these two cars, contact Wally at Walt's Mustang Shop in Little Compton, RI. 401-624-2342 Tell him that I referred you (I just bought a rust-bucket '67 convertible from him for use as a donor car).

I did not do a thorough inspection of either car but if anyone out of the area wants them checked out, I will try to help. The shop is about 90 minutes from me so weekdays would be tough, but I'd try to get down there next weekend.

Sorry, no. She'll own that car until it becomes part of her estate, unless someone makes her an offer that even she couldn't refuse. <grin>

The girl in the photo is a model from Texas who has managed to wrap a certain photographer (also from Texas) around her little finger, said photog having successfully maintained his independence from many other models until now.

So she is single, but somewhat spoken for.

All pictures of these cars have been removed from my website. I don't know the owner, I'm not referring anyone to him, and I am not responsible for any business dealings (good or bad) that you may have with him.
