Well I'm sure all of you know of my search for the 1967 convertible by now so I'm now going to get as many general questions I have answered until then.

1)How had would it be to increase the mph readings on the speedometer... ie from top 120 to top 180mph
2)Where can I find a stock looking repro tach dash....
3)Anyone know where there is a Fog lamp kit for 1967's
4)Where could I get a car chemically dipped to get rid of rust and what is procedure like and cost.

Thanks again guys.... I hope these questions will keep some of you busy till I get more

Will only respond to the last one in the lst. I would not suggest chemially dipping a body. I haven't been happy with the resulting ongoing leakage of chemicals from seams and hidden areas. Prefer media balsting

Believe there aren't kits but indiviual parts available for the fog lights at most Mustang parts stores

5pointoshelby, Thanks, I think it is pretty close with the exception of pearl this is loaded with gold pearl and changes color like an opal sometimes purple sometimes green but mostly silver. this is SWMBOs 95 that is where the color came from decided to have two of them. http://a1060.g.akamai.net/f/1060/597/30minutes/www.zing.com/picture/p713e25dc85f5ff31ffa9abd1c58d6912/fed3b446.jpg John

There are plenty of aftermarket speedos out there to choose from.

Repro instrument clusters are available from any vendor

Fog light kit was answered

I had a quote of $700 to dip my car. That's only an option if you're planning to TOTALLY rebuild the car. Everything that's not metal has to come off, or be eaten by the little monsters swimming in the solution.
