There is a difference between 30$ and 50$ sheet metal

Dynacorn - 1mm metal -put on prepared car and fix with two clamps and ready to weld. --- 5min

cheap cj pony - 0.7mm metal - does not have holes for bolts
1cm to wide on shock tower side
not bent on fender side
poor fitment on cabin side --- 3hours

Next time I will know

Not yet. I am planning to do the drop. Only problem is with upper ball joint and its angle...
trying to find solution for that first then drilling holes.
plan is drop and original old springs just for little lower than stock..
and for the back new leaf spring from cj some cheap and "stock"

pic of car when i started
little red dots are approximately inch lower

Why do you ask ?
Did i do something wrong ?

Aaaaand one year is gone. bought stang one year ago.
Looking on other posts and my progress i am not so happy...
I am working alone (beside 4 days with friend), my first full resto on unfamiliar car that have rust problems and other 50 years problems.
Car was running and driving for 200 meters and then I deasembled it..
with first kid and month ago second, time for garage is limited..
I am traying to work every spare minute on car..

for now disesembled , blasted, velded : cowl, front left rail,3 fender apron,2 flor support, left torq box,
rear right frame rail, trunk crossmember.

there is loong way to go...

few pics from start and now..
