Are the windshield posts not reproduced for a 1967 mustang? My driver side is pretty rusty where it meets the cowl and creating a patch seems pretty involved. The other side of the post (the door side also has a couple pinholes and is pretty corroded). I could make a patch I guess but seems like a repro or salvaged original would be a better option.

I don't think any posts are reproduced individually. Whole cars, yes, but posts? Gotta get an original or get creative I guess.

Well, you can get that if you buy the side assembly, but it's quite expensive. I'd advise making a piece.

That would be really easy to make a patch for.

The back side of the channel and where the post starts going up is pretty thin and heavily pitted on the backside is the problem. I think I'll try to patch it and see how it looks. This is what the rest of the pillar looked like.
