Hi everyone, I understand that 65 and 66 had center consoles as part of the Sprint package but was this also the case for 67 and 68 Sprints?? Cannot find any information on this.

As far as I know, the center console on the floor was a stand alone option for all bucket seat Mustangs and could be paired with standard interiors as well as the deluxe (Pony) interiors. On '66 -'66 Mustangs with factory Air conditioning (below dash) the console was shortened at the front to provide clearance for the evaporator box. For '67 and newer, the air was integrated into the dash. While the Sports Sprint packages were primarily trim upgrades, I do not recall the floor console being part of those packages. Anyone know differently?

My car is a 67 Sport Sprint and it did not come with the console. Confirmed also with Marti report.

As a cost cutting measure, no doubt, the 67-68 Sprint did not include the center console.

As a note, the 67-68 consoles were trimmed on the right-front to clear the AC unit.
