RARE 428CJ "R" code 428CJ
4 speed Mach Factory 4 speed trans. (appears to be the original trans to the car)
ENGINE: 428CJ Block casting date is hard to read, but it looks like it was cast on Feb. 27, 1970, so it is probably not the original Block...no idea on head casting dates, but they are 428CJ heads......Holley 4v carb (not a CJ part number); has stock exh. manifolds (probably original to the car); Engine turns over. Engine assembly was balanced (can tell by the flywheel drilling). Has a 427 windage tray.
Car came with a 31sp. 9” Nodular case 3.50 Traction lok (appears untouched)

Has correct 4 speed (428CJ) rear staggered shocks
Has the original 428CJ reinforced original shock tower lower braces Gas Tank replaced a few years ago MSD 6A box Blk. CA. Lic Plates
BODY: Very little rust, however it has a floorpan patch and a few soft spots on floorpan, so I would recommend a complete one piece new floorpan (it looks much better than welding in insert panels). Paint is an older paint job and it definitely needs a paint job. No bondo on car. Passes cowl water test, no leaks.

Shaker: Base is incorrect and appears to be a 351W base; midplate has flapper valve and 2 of the 3 holes have been elongated.
MILEAGE: 11k on odometer, however this car had the tach dash added, so the speedo probably came from another car in the past. By looking at the interior condition and dr. door latch my guess would be 60-75k original miles...at this time I cannot guarantee actual mileage on car. Clear CA. title
