The Mach 1 is definately worth restoring. What options does it have. My 69 Mach 1 is a 351 4v, auto. Candy apple red with Black int. Folding rear seat. I only paid $2500.oo for mine. It need some rust repair but it's not to bad. The car came with about another $2000.oo worth of spare parts-2 extra doors, 3 hoods, 2 trunks,rear deck spoiler(Factory),2 sets of chrome ralleys,2 pairs of deluxe black door panel(nice with no tears),nos rear taillite panel, and about another dozen boxes of parts.

If its running, has minimal rust, the options a a moot point -- pick it up. I've seen many fastbacks go for that kind of coin easy and paid $3000 for mine sans engine (bought for the core car which has very little rust).
Yes it will cost money to restore, but most of the tasks involved are simple, if a bit time consuming so you should be able to handle this yourself. Also I find if you have some extra toys/items laying around look in the local bargain finder and you'll likely find ppl willing to exchange services for your old junk
. I know a guy locally with over 20 yrs resto experience who does great work for extra parts/etc... Theres always a way if your willing to put in the time, if not then buy a completed car it'll cost far less.
