Can anyone point me to the proper socket spec for the seatbelt warning light that mounts in back of of gauge cluster/panel? I can see used harnesses with sockets on Ebay for $79 but I think its much simpler than that if I can find a correct socket that will properly fit the opening......

I think you would be able to find one in an auto parts store like Napa, and if nothing else you can try the Dorman website.

Thanks. I agree. It measures as a 5/8" hole with two tabs, but I would imagine I need to be careful with the bulb. It seems everything dorman related online takes an 1157 bulb....way too big.

I used these 1 wire sockets for playing around with the 5/8" light holes on a 65/66 dash.

They use the normal 1895 dash lights, but they do kinda require that the dash itself is grounded to work and I don't know if that's the case for a 69.
