I have a 1970 351C Mustang Mach 1 originally Grabber blue with a functioning shaker hood that was hit from behind. I bought a base model Mach 1 to use the body to put the guts of my car in. I have clear Titles to both vehicles. I had the replacement body acid dipped to remove rust. I replaced the floorboards, but it needs body work and paint before it can put it back together. I used to be a certified ASE Master tech when I rebuilt the engine and went through the 4-spd transmission It is almost a rolling chasis except for exhaust and wiring the engine. The work was done approximately 30 years ago when there was not a ready supply of parts as there are today. The engine was bored 10 over with forged pistons and Moly rings installed. The crank is 10 under with 10 over bearings. I installed a 2.5/3000 to 7000 rpm crane(?) camshaft with new bearings, new variable duration lifters and timing chain-gear set. Also new pushrods and rocker arms, fuel pump, water pump etc. I installed a windage tray 4bbl intake with refurbished 4V heads and high temp valves for unleaded gas. The engine was also balanced at Boyd Racing Engines, Norman, OK. The original vehicle had tilt wheel, intermittent wipers, a/c, p/s, power front disc brakes. I purchase and installed new brake booster and master cylinder as well as replacing the rear brake cylinders and rebuilt the front calipers. The original vehicle had reclining high top seats of which the drivers side was partially broken when it was hit from behind. I started the engine and it ran well 30 yrs ago and it has been setting ever since. It also comes with 4 Magnum 500 wheels. I do not know if the original vehicle was a numbers complete car but I believe with the replacement body it is not now. (The image shows a 2BBL which is being used to keep out debris)
