I’m looking for the neutral positions for the shifter linkage on the 4 speed top-loader? I purchased the hurst competition plus shifter and linkage, but the OP “made” the previous linkage so I want to verify what the stock linkage looks like and how it’s installed.

My hurst comp plus has an alignment hole and a plastic “L” shaped tool to keep the shifter aligned in neutral.

Found the neutral positions for the 4 speed top loader which is the first picture, problem now is the hurst 3-4 shift linkage doesn’t clear the reverse or 1-2??

3-4 is completely wrong. The lever should point to 1 o'clock in neutral, flip it over.

Absolutely correct on the 3-4! Flipped it over worked like a charm. Much appreciated
