I'm installing factory a/c in my '70 Mach 1 during it's restoration; it didn't come with a/c originally. That being the case I'm not sure of which holes in the firewall serve which purpose now:
- Which hole is used for the grommet that holds the two vacuum lines that enter the engine compartment? Is it the one near the center above the lip that joins the cowl and firewall?
- Were the two heater hose holes cut on cars that were factory-equipped with a/c, and if so, are they plugged with a rubber plug? I've heard that they were plugged for '67s and '68s, but I'm not sure about the '69s and '70s.
- Is a grommet used in the hole that's cut for the evaporator drain hose?
Thanks in advance for guidance...
