Hi, I have a very original 1970 Mustang Sportsroof, it has the M-code 351C motor with Ram Air and shaker. It has all of the options of a Mach1, but is not a Mach1. My question is, it came with a 4300 carb, with no part number or even manufacturer markings. I'm pretty certain its original to the car, but can't be certain without a number. It doesn't look as if a number was ever placed on the carb. The car has AC, so if someone can tell me the carb number number, I would appreciate it. THX Tim

For the correct original part we would need to know which transmission it had

But here is info for

D00F-Z, AB For a car equipped with manual trans
D00F-Y, AC for one with automatic wo/AC
D00F-Y, AD for one with automatic w/AC

Check the base on the drivers side flange at our slightly to the rear of the front mounting hole. That is where it was stamped on earlier 4300s. Sounds like someone tossed the removal tag during an earlier rebuild
