I replaced all both front calipers, brake hoses, pads and replaced the steel brake lines and after bleeding and ruling out leakes the pedal still goes to the floor and is soft. Is it time for a new master cylinder ?

Thanks, Chet

Have you got the calipers on backwards? I ask because on a Cal Special I restored years ago I did just that. I put them on with the bleeders pointing up (seemed right to me), but in fact they go on with the bleeders parallel to the ground. Turns out I had the calipers on the wrong sides. Switched them and all was well.
